I can’t set a second language as default language and English remains the default one no matter what I do.
I want my second language version to point to the root of my site and the English version to be pointed to mydomain.com/en.
How can I do that?August 28, 2013 at 08:20 #765
It appears that there is a small bug related to setting default language in 1.4 version. we will investigate further and fix it asap.August 30, 2013 at 12:50 #778
Released new version 1.4.2 which fixes setting default language. Please update your script to 1.4.2 or later version first.
- Navigate to “Settings” -> “Language” page from admin panel
- Click “Edit” button for language you want to set as default
- Select “Default” checkbox and save
After completing these steps you will see (Default language) next to that language. Default language will be as root and other languages will be /en/ or /tr/ after domain.
